Spring Collab 2020

A Celeste community collaboration of unmatched proportions - at the time.

My spot in the Prologue credits area, listed under my old username.

I did a lot of work in the 2020 Celeste Spring Community Collab, and ended up helping out all over the place after finishing my own map. I had become essentially an honorary captain by the end of the project, and was honored to work alongside the incredibly skilled team that manned the project's helm.

Most of my time in the collab went towards the level design of the Expert Lobby and my own map - Dreamy Bluffs. I also helped with level design in the Advanced and Expert Heartsides, assisted with decoration in the Grandmaster Heartside, and provided feedback and playtesting for several maps.

Expert Lobby

Building one massive, interconnected level was a lot of fun!
I also created the intro and outro rooms for the Expert Heartside.

I designed the layout and theme for the Expert Difficulty's volcanic hub world! The entire lobby started as a big empty room, and I spent hours filling it with a world that would be fun to explore while not intruding on the maps themselves.

Most decoration, including the map and heartside entrances were handled by other collab members. Please check out the in-game credits, as they turned my layout into something special!

Dreamy Bluffs

The map's entrance, located in the Advanced Lobby
Flying through the fastest room in the map.

Dreamy Bluffs was the first Celeste (2018) map I ever finished, and it's what I joined the collab to make. It's a somewhat challenging map based around jumping between Jellies, Feathers, and Dream Blocks in midair chains, fighting or flowing with the constant wind at every turn.

The map was entirely designed and decorated with my own two paws! The background music was composed by Soggy Milk (aka Two Skies Apart) - you can listen to False Quietude on Soggy's Soundcloud page.

If you want to play the map yourself, you can find it just to the right of the Advanced Lobby's spawn point! Good luck :3

- This memorial is dedicated to those who remained lost forever -

I was also a Beginner Difficulty Captain during the first half of the Strawberry Jam Collab! I was not able to stay on the team due to real life circumstances during that time, but while I was there I assisted with playtesting, feedback, and project management.
